DPA Microphones A/S needs an Area Sales Manager for Southern Europe.
As the Area Sales Manager for Southern Europe/Eastern Europe, you will be responsible for strengthening the growth of DPA Microphones' in all the countries within your area.You will need to put special focus on France and the other Southern European countries.
You will be the key link between DPA Microphones' Management and our local distributors. As the Area Sales Manager, you must execute the sales strategy introduced by the company.
You will represent high-quality products and must be able to follow up on high sales figures and rapid expansion. You must use your insight of your area of responsibility to foresee opportunities in the current positive market and you must feed relevant information back to DPA Microphones so the company can take action in time to make an impact on sales.
One of the main tasks will be to develop a link between DPA Microphones and the local distributors; this channel is an important way to increase the sales of the products. It is therefore expected that you are present locally when needed, and that you are able to foresee issues, before they become a problem. You must lead the way for your distributors and make it easier for them to succeed with their part of the sale.
DPA Microphones hosts quarterly promotion campaigns, but you will undertake local initiatives when necessary and you will need to promote DPA Microphones at local events such as workshops, training seminars, etc.
You probably have either an MBA (Cand.Merc.) or engineering degree (Eksportingeniør), or you possess other qualifications to match these profiles. You have a proven track record working as an Area Sales Manager, preferably within a tech environment and you have experience working at successful, fast growing, high-end businesses.
You speak English, French and Danish and are able to enter business and social events with people of all cultures.
A passion for DPA Microphones products is necessary if you become Area Sales Manager. Passion drives the company to produce the best microphones available on the market and this passion will make it possible for you to meet the highest expectations.
You should possess a strategic mind-set so you can fully understand DPA Microphones’ ambitions as a world leader of high-end audio equipment. And you must be able to transform these ambitions into your day-to-day work with local distributors.

You will play a key role in the DPA Microphones' organization and you will help boost the sales figures and ensure DPA Microphones remains the preferred supplier of high-end microphones. The job holds a high-degree of freedom and responsibility. Therefore, the position requires a person who takes responsibility for tasks given and pursues them all the way through to the finish line.

Work place: Allerød. However, you will be required to be present on locations in France, Italy and Spain when needed.
