Commercially driven position with unique scope

On behalf of our customer, GSK, Hays is looking for a suitable candidate to occupy a vital commercial role as Market Access Manager. You will join the market access team and report directly to the Therapy & Market Access Director. In the role, you will enjoy a broad internal and external collaboration, including interaction with the GSK cluster team, physicians, regional payers and patient organizations. In continuation hereof, creating and maintaining professional working relationships constitute a crucial part of your job.

The role is pivotal for the organization – you will design, develop and implement activities, which enables GSK to secure optimal access and realize the maximum commercial potential of current and future products marketed in the Capital Region and Region Zealand. The focal point of the position is to enhance the effectiveness of sales and medical groups - thereby further developing the reputation of GSK as a credible, research-based pharmaceutical organization that brings high value products to stakeholders in Denmark.

Additionally to producing, maintaining and implementing market access plans, approximately a fifth of your time will be dedicated to pricing and tender management. This responsibility allocation makes the scope of the position unique and provides you with significant impact on the business of GSK.

Self-driven profile with industry experience and a sturdy mind-set

A Master’s degree within economics, marketing or similar will serve relevant in our selection for the role. You hold relevant knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, equaling a minimum of three years of industry experience in a market access or health economics position. An in-depth understanding of the pricing / reimbursement environment and the government / payer review process is a prerequisite. You have furthermore become acquainted with preparing and submitting tenders in your previous job(s). Experience within public relations and government affairs will serve valuable but is not decisive. Lastly, holding a network within the respiratory therapeutic area will also serve beneficial.

In order to successfully occupy the role, the mind-set of the candidate is all-important. You must be distinct enterprising and demonstrate full ownership of your projects. You possess excellent communication skills and are accustomed to cooperate with highly scientific and commercial stakeholders. In continuation hereof, reviewing and analyzing both medical and business data comes easy to you. You are detail-oriented and your sturdiness shines through during busy periods.
