Lead Software Engineer

Are you motivated by being the go-to person on technical challenges? And are you able to collect and analyse data and transform it into applicable knowledge? Then you could be the new Lead Software Engineer in Danfoss Group IT. You will become part of a competent and dedicated department and will be working from our head office in Nordborg.

Act as application expert and assist internal stakeholders on technical issues

As our new Lead Software Engineer, you will provide services for e.g. IT Service Management, Project Management, Process Documentation and Digitalisation. You will, thus, be working closely together with our Solution Owner and stakeholders around the world, supporting them on technical issues and advising on relevant options within applications. Furthermore, you will prepare, organise and follow-up on relevant application maintenance and development projects.

Technical acumen and strong communication skills

You have a relevant educational background, preferably at Bachelor’s level as a minimum. Most important is your working experience within application management and consultancy. Since you are going to work within Salesforce applications to a large extent (Remedyforce and Cloud Coach), specific experience within these applications will be an advantage.
As most of your business stakeholders will be process owners, you are also familiar with frameworks like ITIL, CMMI, Prince2, and agile methodologies. Professionally, you act with confidence in the organisation, and you are not afraid of making day-to-day decisions on your own. On a more personal note, you are cooperative and have a strong will. You are excellent at turning stakeholders’ needs into usable solutions, and you are able to control several tasks simultaneously while delivering on time. Last but not least, you are fluent in written and spoken English.
