An ambitious organisation
Nets is on an exciting journey of transforming the business to become a top-3 player in Europe, specialised in managing digital values. An important element in this transformation is building a strong procurement function able to continuously deliver stellar performance. Stepping in as our new strategic sourcing manager, you will be part of the Strategic Sourcing and Re-negotiation department within the Nets procurement organisation.
Manage and drive procurement projects
Your main responsibility will be to execute strategic sourcing projects across Nets businesses. This includes mapping and analysing data on current spending patterns and supply market, identifying cost drivers and opportunities in complex environments. Moreover, you develop and maintain models to analyse supplier offers and quantify total costs of ownership.
Doing so, you manage and lead cross-functional project teams across different departments, business units and geographies. Here, you put into practice your ability to understand and drive complex projects, such as IT development contracts, as well as communicate sourcing recommendations in a compelling way to senior levels within the business, e.g. via our steering committee and other relevant stakeholders.
Project manager with strategy and sourcing experience
To succeed in this role, you need excellent analytical as well as project management skills. You have insights into the process around strategic sourcing and project management. Ideally, you have experience working with strategic sourcing and negotiation, but another point of entry may be from a role as a management consultant with a proven track record within the field of procurement.
You hold a relevant university degree combined with 2+ years of experience, preferably from a mature procurement organisation.
Experience working in an international organisation is an advantage, as is the ability to network with people from different locations, across cultures and management levels.
Our company language is English, so you need to be proficient in speech as well as writing.
Finally, you thrive in a dynamic environment, where initiative is appreciated and rewarded with attractive career opportunities.
