Elaborated technical skills and a service-minded attitude
As process engineer you will work very independently and act as the company’s expert specialist on site with a view to commissioning and installation of machinery and process equipment and ensure a smooth, on-time and correct hand-over to the customer. You will primarily become our specialist within extrusion of feed to the feed industry. You are skilled in start-up, trouble-shooting, guidance and training of customer’s staff with a special view to the process technical part. This means that your curiosity combined with your strong urge on problem solving and optimization are some of your strongest as well as documented competencies. Therefore you need both a strong technical background and a natural desire to support and guide the customer on site.
As Process Engineer you will travel +180 days a year, most of the time on your own. As our ideal colleague you have an exceptionally high drive, and it is definitely an advantage that you have travelled extensively in former, similar job functions. You will be forced to take decisions on site - on your own - based on your high technical background as well as process technical knowledge. Therefore you are a person having high demands to your own standard displaying respect for and following internal quality standards and procedures. As travels are often scheduled to satisfy customer needs, it is important that you are flexible as well as open-minded. One week you might be in China, the next in Brazil so you enjoy working with different cultures and have the ability to understand and fit in wherever you may be located. When not travelling, the working place will primarily be the office in Esbjerg, Denmark.
Preferably you have a basic education as smith, electrician, industrial technician or similar, topped with a relevant technical education on minimum Bachelor’s level, could be as mechanical or marine engineer, process technician or the like as well as working experience from a similar position. Furthermore, it is imperative that you have high proficiency in English both in writing and speaking.
