Regional Product Manager

We are currently looking for a new regional product manager who will have both strategic and operational responsibility within our broad product assortment, working as a link between global product management (GPM) and sales companies within a specific region in Europe.
Working in close cooperation with the 3 product category teams (windows, accessories and growth products) in GPM, your primary responsibility will be to ensure product strategy execution and to act as a commercial sparring partner for the region, continuously challenging the region to optimise their product portfolio, positioning, product communication and exploit their market potential.
You will participate in your regions' local business planning by supporting local product range planning, perform sales performance follow-up and prepare product launches. Furthermore, you will be responsible for capturing and communicating commercial input and product requests from the region to the global product category teams, support local execution of large product strategic initiatives and participate in fairs, release events and roadshows.
Reporting to the Senior Manager for Regional Product Management (RPM), you will be part of a truly global team along with three other regional product managers based in three of our sales companies.
The RPM team forms part of the global product management organisation, characterised by knowledgeable and dedicated colleagues with a 'one team' mindset, which means you also will have the opportunity to participate in other cross-functional projects.
As part of a global organisation, you can expect to travel approx. 30 days per year internationally.
You have a Master's Degree, 5+ years' experience from one or more international companies and ideally a background in sales and marketing. You have worked with the marketing and sales of branded consumer products, obtaining strong knowledge in areas such as Social Content Optimisation, marketing mix, positioning as well as development and execution of effective campaigns. Furthermore, you have some years of experience from working with project management.
You are a team player, possess great drive, and have an analytical and structured approach to tasks. You have the ability to define and disseminate best practices and encourage sales companies to continue to develop their sales and marketing initiatives. You are an excellent communicator, result-oriented, and have a pragmatic and dynamic approach to tasks and are not afraid to challenge status quo whilst at the same time stay sensitive to market needs.
It is important that you can navigate within a matrix organisation with many stakeholders and that you can drive results in this type of environment.
You have a strong command of English, both written and spoken, and ideally French.
You will be part of a committed, dynamic and business-oriented team in a large international company, where you will be responsible for your own geographical area, and where you in cooperation with Commercial Managers and the local sales companies will develop and grow markets. You will have the possibility to work with a long-term outlook and be able to see the direct link between your actions and the results.
