Corporate Intranet Manager, VELUX A/S Communications

We are looking for a dedicated Corporate Intranet Manager with technical, communicative and strategic skills to join us in strengthening our global intranet 'VELUX One' to an even better communication and collaboration channel.

Your challenges

If you believe that a global digital workplace is vital for the success of an organisation, you might be our new Corporate Intranet Manager.

Your job will be to shape, maintain and further develop our new intranet and to ensure its function as an important communication and collaboration channel in the VELUX Group. Our intranet is for all our 10,000 employees and based on Office 365. You are able to bridge technology and analytics with users and business needs.

You will be responsible for defining and prioritising business needs and objectives, ongoing development, maintenance, implementation and support. You will cooperate closely with the corporate editor, a global intranet network of more than 80 community managers, internal stakeholders, external suppliers, VELUX IT and IT Business Management functions.

Your job will primarily be to:

  • Develop and enforce strategy, governance and policies
  • Ensure usability and design
  • Manage the site structure and adding services
  • Develop business cases in the ongoing intranet development
  • Perform ongoing optimisation of search functions
  • Train and counsel community managers
  • Support and maintenance
  • Monitoring and metrics

Besides being responsible for VELUX One, you will lead the process of implementing and driving a global setup of info screens primarily targeted at employees who have no daily online access.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a person with knowledge and experience from similar jobs. You have a solid business and user understanding and know how to transform that into the processes and flows in a digital workplace environment.

In addition, you have knowledge of web technology and systems, online communication and good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. You are service minded, outgoing and can work independently as well as in teams.

Your education can be in engineering, communication or similar. You speak and write English at a high level, and you understand Danish. You are interested in tools and technology within CMS and social media and know how to do basic photo editing.
