Experienced Quality Expert

Your challenges

We are looking for a person to join a dedicated and ambitious project team within Product development with a close link towards production.

Your overall focus will be to systematically ensure the quality of the product development process and the product itself, to drive the quality agenda in the project and to initiate quality activities.

You will be the driving force in building up a solid APQP/design for Six Sigma environment facilitating tools and methods and keeping a sense of perspective through the process of maturing the organisation.

Your main tasks will entail to:

  • Be the expert within Quality Assurance focusing on the project process from performance specification to validation
  • Be an active partner and asset in the project planning and ensuring quality activities in the project
  • Facilitate methods and processes e.g. FMEA on system and design
  • Develop and improve our processes and methods regarding Quality Assurance in the product development phase
  • Update the project team and to report progress in the project plan

You will be collaborating internally as well as externally with suppliers, test institutes and relevant knowledge partners. A certain amount of travelling must therefore be expected approx. 20-30 days per year.

Your qualifications

We expect you to have an Engineering degree or similar including 10-15 years of experience within quality and from a production company.

It is a prerequisite that you have a Six Sigma Belt and/or TS16949 education in your extensive toolbox - if you have both it will definitely be a plus. Furthermore, you have experience within the field of APQP/design for 6-sigma environment regarding thinking processes and methods.

It is important that you thrive on working in an innovative environment without well-defined frames and processes. With your positive mindset and your strong collaboration skills, you see it as a positive challenge that you are the driving force in establishing them.

Since you will be working with product developers and specialists, connecting the dots and sometimes challenging the existing, competencies such as excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required including the ability to guide and coach others in the right direction.

On a personal level, you see yourself as result and progress oriented with a 'can do attitude'. You have a structured, analytical and detail oriented approach to every task you face while prioritising your efforts optimally always with a focus on how to create value for the business.

The position requires that you communicate fluently in Danish and English, both orally and in writing.
