Commercial Product Manager

We are currently looking for a new colleague who would like to take up this challenging position as Commercial Product Manager for our core product segment, roof windows, in our Global Product Management (GPM) team.

Your challenges

You will be responsible for proactively driving the implementation of category strategies and making them executable through the development of commercial initiatives. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for the coordination of product launch preparation and for setting the direction for the Regional Product Managers, based in the different regions in Europe.

Your primary tasks will be to develop commercial initiatives to drive strategy implementation, capture input and requests from sales companies to guide on how to drive sales further through commercial initiatives, describe product positioning and 'go-to-market' story for new products, drive compliance to product launch targets and follow up on sales companies compliance to sales estimates. You will also participate in cross-functional GPM commercial projects.

Being part of a global organisation, you can expect to travel internationally approx. 50 days per year.

Your qualifications

We imagine that you have a commercial degree with 10+ years of experience from one or more global organisations, most recently as either a global marketing or marketing & sales manager with P&L responsibility.

Your strong points are your international mindset, your understanding of and passion for high quality market leading products, your commercial mindset and strong market understanding.

Competencies such as strong communication and collaboration skills are a must, including the ability to influence others at all levels within an organisation. You are a natural networker who easily builds up relationships within the organisation through results, credibility and trust.

Furthermore, you are a self-starter with a can-do, result-oriented attitude and a strong ability to deliver quality solutions in time.

It is important that you can navigate within a matrix organisation with many stakeholders and that you can drive results in this type of environment.

You have a strong command of English, both written and spoken.
