Chief Commercial Officer

Coinify is the European leader within blockchain payments and provide a sophisticated plugin for Payment Service Providers which enable merchants to receive bitcoin and blockchain payments. The company has secured investments from SEED Capital and SEB, which not only supports the international growth plan, but also serves as an acceptance of the technology by the banking industry. To support the international growth plan and focus on the commercial success of the company we are now looking for a:

Chief Commercial Officer
Sales management – Marketing – Customer support

Customer acquisition and onboarding

You will be responsible for the commercial and customer facing activities. Your responsibilities cover 3 functions: Sales, Marketing and Customer support. Your team will grow from 5 to approximately 8 employees within the next 12 months. Your role will combine team management, optimizing processes related to all 3 areas, resource planning and operational sales tasks. You will be working closely together with the CEO in regards to sales and with the management team in general. You will play an important role in regards to gathering customer feedback and requirements in a structured way and making these findings available for the future commercial product road map.

As a manager you will have an important role in developing, motivating and supporting the team in a phase where customer influx is expected to be high. Going through a growth phase you will also ensure that standard procedures support the onboarding process and that customer focus continues to be core to the organisation. You prioritize to collect input from customers and you have a profound interest in learning and staying on track with the global trends within Fintech – important data and input that can help improve the software solutions and customer satisfaction.

Sales manager profile with cross functional experience

You probably have a commercial bachelor or master’s degree and you have combined your educational background with several years of sales and sales management experience. It is important that you have cross functional experience besides your sales background, optimizing not only sales but also customer onboarding and support. You combine your sales background, management and leadership focus with a social and outgoing personality.

You will play a pivotal role in a start-up organisation with a strong foundation and big ambitions. You will be a part of a very dynamic environment, working with interesting blockchain-technology and the possibility of transforming aspects of the financial sector. The team is agile and the market is moving fast. You will have major impact on designing your own job and the commercial team.
