Quality oversight of GSK products within growing team.

On behalf of our client, GSK, Hays is offering an exciting career opportunity as LOC Quality Lead Pharma. With direct reference to the Regional LOC Quality Manager, you will be in charge of ensuring the Quality oversight of GSK products distributed on the Norwegian market, together with implementation and maintenance of the GSK quality management systems within the commercial operating unit. The function is critical to the effective management of systems and activities that are crucial or have a direct impact to product quality and regulatory compliance. You are expected to take lead and drive the implementation and sustaining of the quality management system within the organization. Evidently, the focal point of the position is quality strategy and quality systems – covering everything from risk management and change control to product supply, complaints and artwork management.

The position entails local responsibility and you will join an international team covering ten countries. You will enjoy a close internal collaboration and broad interface, both locally and within the Nordics. With this in mind, building internal stakeholder interaction and understanding the mechanisms of the local operations will be crucial for your success in the role.

Sturdy and ambitious Quality Specialist

In order to be taken into consideration for the role, we expect you to hold a scientific background – a Master’s degree within pharmacy, chemistry, biology or similar will be a natural basis for the role. You possess in-depth work experience from the pharmaceutical or consumer health care industries. In continuation hereof, you hold strong knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining good manufacturing and distribution practices. Significant competences within quality assurance systems, particularly within the areas of batch release, management of product complaints and incidents, artwork control and performing audits are expected of the candidate.

On a personal level, you are pro-active, self-driven and open for new ideas. You are socially oriented, which you make use of when dealing with internal stakeholders and external authorities. You thrive with being innovative and creative, and do not accept status quo, whilst never compromising on quality or compliance.
