The position we offer
This position offers a balanced combination of advisory role, practical assignments and communication with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external. You will have an interface with clients, authorities, as well as the teams working with corporate actions, settlements, customer & client relations, and legal matters. You will work with numbers, legislation and rationalising with regards to tax systems.
Nordea will provide you the chance and encouragement to develop and expand your knowledge in Qualified Intermediary services (QI services) and tax. Working in the domain of Dividend Withholding Tax, you will delve deeper, as well as provide expert advice in QI and tax reclaim in various projects. You will assume the same advisory role when onboarding new clients, reviewing reclaim applications or in general dealing with customers and authorities. A strong comprehension of the value chain pertaining flow of Securities (A-Z) is important.
The qualifications you need
We imagine that you have:
- An academic background, herunder cand.merc.jur, cand.jur, Auditing etc.
- Basic skills in IT, and a fondness for working with various systems
- Danish and English language skills
You could come from a variety of backgrounds. One of the examples is that you have worked with tax advisory in general, perhaps as Tax Consultant at an auditing firm. Alternatively, you have been trained and educated in banking or auditing with some insight into tax regulations/calculations. You could also have a back-office background, where you have been a part of a custody department, with an insight in Securities’ flow or static data function.
