Quality Assurance Services for textiles, footwear and children's products - Nordic region

Grow and manage strategic retail customers

On behalf of UL Group (UL), we are looking for an experienced sales executive, who will be responsible for selling Quality Assurance Services within Softlines - covering textiles, footwear and children's products, being a fast growing portfolio in UL. With direct report to the Sales Manager Consumer & Retail Services North Europe, you will be responsible for growing existing accounts and expanding services provided, in line with the Nordic business plan. One of your main objectives will be to create a demand for UL services in the Consumer Products Industry segment. You will identify large opportunities and develop solutions to meet the client's needs, focusing on customer satisfaction and on sustaining customer loyalty. Furthermore, you will execute a growth plan for the Nordics and identify growth opportunities to fill potential market gaps.

In this job, you will have a lot of communication both internally and externally. You will become the single point of contact for customers and follow up on activities to ensure the achievement of sales targets. You will have ongoing liaison with UL teams in Europe and Asia with focus on developments and joint/global strategic customers and participate in segment fairs, conferences etc. Furthermore, you will work cross- regionally with relevant departments to maximise synergy activity and develop brand awareness, and finally, you will work closely with the Customer Service Team and the Operations Team in the region in order to ensure a close coordination on UL service delivery. You will become part of the Consumer & Retail Services department in EMEA LA, and the position will be located in Ballerup (DK) or Stockholm (SE) - with the possibility to work from home. As part of the on-boarding programme, you must expect extra travelling days, but normally, you can expect up to 80 travelling days per year - to Europe and Asia.

To succeed in this position, you could have a background within quality management combined with sales, or just account management experience related to the retail consumer products industry with knowledge of testing, inspection and certification. You hold a commercial degree and have an exceptional business understanding and a commercial mind-set. Equally important are your interpersonal skills which enable you to communicate clearly on all levels while being assertive, cooperative and friendly at the same time. We expect you to be self-driven and ambitious in order to match the culture in the company. You are fluent in English and in at least one of the Scandinavian languages.
