In an international project organisation and growing company
Are you a finance professional with strong people skills and an international mind-set? Would you like to be in charge of finance management across business units in an international and exciting environment? And are you motivated by optimising, implementing and driving financial processes and procedures? Then you might be the new Finance Manager for SCADA International's finance team.
Financial reporting and controlling, work-in-progress calculations and transfer pricing
We offer a position where you will have the opportunity to work with financial reporting and controlling in a company that welcomes commitment, enthusiasm and initiative. You will join a team of finance professionals and report directly to the CFO, and you will be responsible for the DK-based team of accountants and accountant assistants. As Finance Manager, you will be exposed to different accounting and controlling principles, and you will be responsible for ensuring alignment in accounting principles and procedures for all business units. You will prepare consolidated monthly accounts in which work-in-progress calculations will be a substantial part. Other areas of responsibility will be:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with corresponding consolidation at corporate level
- Assisting the CFO in designing and implementing transfer pricing policies across the company and monitoring compliance and legal requirements
- Financial controlling of all business units
- Continuous update and maintenance of NAV (ERP-system)
- Continuous update and maintenance of internal tools for financial analysis to create overview and transparency (BI)
- Optimising and ensuring efficient financial processes
Your mission will be to ensure that internal and external reporting deadlines are met, and that you maintain a constructive dialogue and close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders within the organisation. This is partly done through preparation and follow-up on monthly department budgets with department managers.
Sound understanding of accounting and financial controlling in a project organisation
Your educational background is HD(R), cand.merc.aud. or equivalent, combined with solid work experience within accounting, controlling and/or auditing. You have a sound understanding of accounting and financial controlling and know how to apply and adapt general accounting principles across the organisation with a contemporary and pragmatic approach. You are familiar with working in a project environment and feel comfortable communicating appropriately at all levels of the organisation. You have experience working in ERP systems, preferably NAV 2013 R2, as well as MS Office, especially Excel.
Outgoing team player with an international mind-set
You are outgoing and enjoy working with and motivating your stakeholders. You have a flexible mind-set and know that it is necessary to serve as a back-up function for colleagues when you are part of a small team. You understand the value of working together and solving problems as a team while at the same time working independently with your own tasks and assignments. It is essential that you have an international mind-set, and that you thrive on working with different cultures, adapting to situations and circumstances when necessary. Last but not least, you are fluent in written and spoken English as well as Danish.
