Talented Project Manager for VELUX Global Business Services

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Global Process Owners team with the overall responsibility to support us in running projects and continuous improvements in our processes across the Global Business Services organisation.

Your challenges

With reference to the Global Process Owner Director, you will be responsible for initiating and driving projects and programs within Global Business Services. In close cooperation with internal clients across the VELUX Group and our outsourcing partner, you will drive projects concerning finance and purchasing improvement initiatives. Navigating within a matrix organisation with many stakeholders, you will develop and implement best in class solutions and enjoy a variety of projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the projects from start to finish. In doing so, you will cover the total project flow and set and lead a project team. In addition, you will drive team meetings, develop solutions, manage stakeholders and suppliers - internal as well as external - provide sparring etc.

As a natural part of the position, you will be responsible for developing project plans as well as ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and with quality in solutions and implementation that lives up to our standards.

Our project portfolio is extensive. An example of a task waiting for you is to be project manager for 'New Ways of Purchasing' which is implementation of a purchase order solution for indirect purchasing. Another example could be the role as project manager for a new global travel and expense solution.

As you will be part of an international company you must expect 30-40 travel days per year.

Your qualifications

You have a project management track record equivalent to IPMA C level including 3-5 years of experience with project management preferably within Purchasing and Finance. A good understanding of how to drive change management processes and master the facilitation of processes, decision making and workshops is a must.

Maybe you have a background as management consultant combined with experience from large projects and leading teams in an international corporate environment.

Working in teams truly motivates you and you have the ability to motivate and inspire the people you work with including an exceptional talent for empowering others to strive for the common goal.

You are persistent and able to facilitate and drive projects while managing internal and external resources. As a person, you have a strategic and commercial mind-set, a great drive as well as a holistic, analytical and structured approach to tasks.

As you will engage with different stakeholders and have close contact to many nationalities across the VELUX organisation, you must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
