Field Brand Manager (Endocrine)
Pfizer is adopting an innovative and collaborative approach to the development of new medicines for patients with rare diseases. The Rare Disease team works to develop effective therapies for patients affected by rare disorders. Our expertise in large molecule therapeutics, small molecule protein chaperones, and transcriptional modulators has resulted in a broad pipeline of potentially transformative medicines across multiple disease areas. In addition to our internal research programs, we actively collaborate with patient advocacy groups, academic investigators, and other industry partners to accelerate the drug development process. By working together in innovative and strategic ways, we will together make a difference in the lives of rare disease patients, their families, and caregivers, all of whom deserve safe and effective therapies for the conditions that affect them.
Right now we are searching for a Field Brand Manager (Endocrine) to join our Rare Disease team. Based at our offices in Copenhagen (60%) and in the field (40%), this role will give you the responsibility of exploring opportunities for new brands within our Rare Disease portfolio through strategy development and implementation. Developing and adapting in-country brand strategies, you will assess and utilise a full range of digital channels to drive products forward and explore new ways of customer interaction. You will be responsible for the continued management of revenues and operational expenses performance coupled with the development of customer account plans.
Reporting to the Rare Disease Lead (Denmark, Finland & Iceland), the successful applicant will work in collaboration with other Pfizer Business Units, Enabling Functions, European Disease Area Communities, and Rare Disease Teams in Europe. Key accountabilities will include driving customer strategy implementation, ensuring successful marketing execution, leading cross functional collaboration, and management of monitoring/ control of operating budgets.
Skills & Experience Required:
To take on the Field Brand Manager (Endocrine) role, you will ideally be educated to a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree level in science or business administration. You will have broad knowledge and experience of the national healthcare/ pharmaceutical environment in addition to being able to operate as Pfizer’s ambassador with customers and professional bodies. The successful candidate will have prior experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including field sales and product management. You should be able to demonstrate strong analytical, interpersonal, and influencing skills. Oral and written proficiency in Danish and English at business/ negotiating level will be required.
