Dynamic Project Assistants with a lot of drive
We are looking for two Project Assistants for our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team in Østbirk. Are you fascinated by product development and motivated to work where IT and development overlaps? Then come join us.
You will be joining a newly established team working with product development. Our project is still at an early stage, but it is in many ways the spine of our development section and will greatly influence the way the VELUX Group will work with development in the future. Your time and tasks will be evenly split working on projects and processes, providing crucial support for key persons in our Product Lifecycle Management programme.
Among your tasks, it will be your job to:
- Help implementing PLM in the VELUX Group
- Coordinate PLM activities on a daily basis
- Drive the organisation to share knowledge and experience with PLM
- Take centre stage for all PLM activities
- Participate in development meetings and secure optimum execution.
As you will have plenty of opportunities to shape your tasks and development, this position is very suitable for someone with a desire to make a career in PLM or as a project manager.
Furthermore, you will be working in an environment characterised by high energy, which is why we are looking for candidates with a lot of get-up-and-go. So if that is you, do read on.
Your professional and educational background is not as important as your attitude and energy. Perhaps you are a process engineer, or perhaps you have an IT technical background. As long as you possess a natural flair for IT, a great drive and a keen interest in driving projects forward to success, we will be happy to teach, train and coach you in the right disciplines and direction.
You may see yourself as a future project manager with an eagerness to learn through an active and proactive approach to the way you work. You are not afraid to volunteer or speak your mind whenever your team is faced with new tasks and requests. On top of all this, you possess a distinct tidiness, a good business sense and solid English skills.
We would like it if ideas and creative whims come to you easily. However, your team will be reviewed by its ability to meet project deadlines, so we also need our Project Assistants to be decidedly persistent when it comes to closing and following up on tasks.
Above all, you share our core values: Respect, honesty, loyalty, openness, and a good sense of humour.
Your team will consist of five colleagues, and you will contribute greatly to shaping the organisation of the team both internally and the external collaboration with a wide range of consultants. You will be able to learn a lot from our clients, engineers and managers, and a forthcoming and extrovert manner will bring you in touch with these collaborations.
The overall theme for this position is that the more you put into it, the more you will get out of it in terms of influence and development with the VELUX Group.
