We are offering a challenging position as Senior Global Health Economics & Outcomes (HEOR) Research Manager, in the department of Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research, Clinical R&D. You will report to the Senior Director HEOR, Clinical R&D.
You will act as global HEOR expert for Ferring’s drug development projects, across our therapy areas of Reproductive Health, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Urology and Orthopaedics.
The main areas of responsibility
- Provide strategic and scientific HEOR expertise across development projects
- Implement innovative, evidence-based HEOR solutions to optimize value proposition and pricing/reimbursement
- Manage HEOR projects to ensure maximum return from vendors
- Prepare HEOR scientific data for regulatory authorities, payers and HTA agencies
- Develop and maintain relationships with external HEOR experts
- Communicate HEOR results in publications, abstracts, posters and at conferences
We expect you to have a scientific degree in at least one of health economics, market access, patient-reported outcomes or other relevant scientific area. You have at least 7 years of experience from working in the HEOR area. A comprehensive understanding of the needs of regulatory and payer authorities at a global level is a requirement.
As a successful candidate we expect you to have not only the scientific breadth but also the proven ability to successfully interact with large, complex organizations in the context of the international Pharmaceutical Industry. You are able to network effectively to drive new initiatives and have the proven ability to align diverse functions within the matrix structure.
You are innovative, flexible and result-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You thrive on working very independently with large tasks, but are also keen on maintaining a close collaboration with colleagues in the team and other departments in a multicultural environment in a changing and evolving company. Finally, fluency in English both spoken and written is essential for this position.
