Student Assistant, Household Care Global Marketing, Bagsvaerd
An attractive position is open in Global Marketing for an ambitious and high-performing student assistant. You will be part of a great team responsible for the overall market strategy including pipeline and innovation management, product launches, as well as monitoring new trends and competition. Working in Global Marketing is cross-functional in nature, ensuring a broad exposure to a large variety of shareholders. We are a project-based, fast-paced department, and the learning curve is steep from day one.
As a student assistant you will assist the marketers in a variety of tasks which could involve market, customer, sales and competitor analyses; brand and positioning analyses as well as tory building for sales pitches.
Some of the tasks our previous student assistant has been responsible for are i) to build pitches targeted at laundry and dishwash customers, leveraging disruptive insights to position Novozymes’ enzymes as crucial for market success. ii) to identify key market trends within the laundry segment, laying the foundation for the long-term strategy and tactics and iii) to assess pricing from a performance and risk perspective being a key component for setting the direction for household care in the future as well as day-to-day risk management.
The average time commitment in the position is 20-25 hours per week split on two-three days. The workload will vary and we expect mutual flexibility for you to solve tasks timely and at the same time attend exams.
In this position you need to:
- Be in your final undergraduate year (e.g. within business administration, marketing, strategy or finance/economics)
- Be a high-performing and ambitious individual thriving with challenge
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a data-driven approach
- Be a quick and proactive learner with good communicational skills required to successfully engage with a broad range of stakeholders
- Be a good team player who is also able to work independently taking responsibility for key deliverables
- Have excellent skills working with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Be fluent in both oral and written English
