International Sales Manager

Winning new business, building long-term relationships

Are you devoted to developing sales in an international market? Would you like to play a key role in its future growth? Then you may be the new International Sales Manager for Vikan, one of the world's leading manufacturers of hygienic and efficient cleaning solutions. As Vikan's new International Sales Manager, you will play a key role in developing growth markets; Japan and Russia in particular, along with a number of future growth markets, building strong relations with key distributors as well as identifying and developing new accounts. You will travel around 60-80 days per year, and you will act as the key interface between the customer and all business functions such as Marketing, Customer Service, Product Development and Supply Chain. The role includes:

  • Overall responsibility for developing existing and identifying new business in emerging markets in close collaboration with the local National Sales Managers and Vikan's distributor network;
  • Development, execution and follow up on sales and marketing activities and results;
  • Ensuring the development of the distributors regarding sales, product and industry knowledge and
  • Analysing and mapping the market dynamics and business structure in key selected markets.

Finally, you will secure the building of long-term relationships, and you will be part of supporting a customer-focused culture in Vikan. The position is located in Copenhagen on Islands Brygge. You will report to the Group Sales Director.

Commercially strong international B2B sales profile

You have a proven track record of achieving strong B2B sales results. You have several years of experience in international sales and solid experience working across borders, where you have gained a strong understanding of different cultures and behaviours. Experience from working with distributors will be an advantage. You are good at building relationships and developing key accounts. You are highly self-motivated and passionate about driving the business forward and acting as a team player who is willing to share best practice and who is open-minded to new ideas. As a leader, you are dynamic with an action-oriented approach. You are fluent in English.
