About the Position 

Your role:

In your role as Key Account Manager (f/m) you are responsible for driving customer growth delivering sales and maximizing the profitability for the organization. The Key Account Manager will report directly to a Sales and Business Development Manager.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for defined own key accounts incl. negotiation of national contracts and their fulfillment on customer level
  • Continuous analysis, KPI reporting and suggesting actions on identified risks and opportunities
  • Prepare customer plans and presentations and implement tools to improve customer relationship for a specified group of accounts
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, trade marketing and revenue management on the execution of promotional activities
  • Work with field force to drive and execute instore promotion and visibility and most efficient assortment
  • Accountable for regular data exchange with customers (e.g. verification of turnover reports)
  • Participate in creation of strategy regarding clients and sales channels
  • Negotiate listing of new launched products
  • Prepare monthly sales forecast
  • Recognize sales opportunities and liaise with appropriate colleagues to grow the wider business
  • Develop the Annual Operating Plan (annual agreement, pricing, NPD listings, promo investments)

Qualifications

Your Desired Skill & Experience:

  • University degree in: management, marketing or economics
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in FMCG sector (3 full negotiation cycles)
  • Analytical mindset, good commercial understanding, business acumen
  • Very good computer skills (MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Very good knowledge of English and Danish
  • Very good negotiation skills
  • Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • High excellence in execution, structured way of working and hands-on mentality
  • Proactive mindset, highly motivated, high customer- and service orientation
  • Able to work under the time pressure
