Our client is a leading provider of one-stop solutions for the installation and service of wind turbines throughout the world. The owners are a well consolidated and highly wind-experienced group of industrial investors, and the company has approx. 1.000 employees with subsidiaries and offices worldwide. Our client is now looking for a Head of Sales - Wind Industry to the headquarter located in Central Jutland. You can expect approximately 100 travel days yearly.
Driving CRM and securing long term relationships and pipeline
You will be responsible for the development of existing customers in turnover and margin, and for the sales activities within your area of business. It will be your task to ensure a solid pipeline (frame agreements) also in order to achieve the highest possible occupational rate for the technicians.
You maintain and develop contacts and relationships with customers on all levels and identify stakeholders. In a systematic and prioritized way, you identify client needs and actively pursue business opportunities and sales leads.
It is among your responsibilities to secure an effective sales operation and establish a close, internal cooperation with other functions. Naturally, you analyze pre-sales activities by won and lost orders and draw conclusions for Account Plans. By ensuring effective sales processes from the first meeting to contract signature, you close deals – and increase the bottom line.

You are a proactive team player, and you “walk the talk” as the leader and can, at the same time, work independently. You have the broad view without losing the important details, and you know how to handle conflicting priorities in a busy work day. You are able to “think out of the box”.
Experience from the wind industry is a prerequisite. A minimum of 3 years of strategic, business-to-business sales experience is required, as well as experience with negotiating with executive stakeholders. Preferably you have experience from the offshore wind industry.
