Kopenhagen Fur is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager focusing on Auctions & International Sales
To join our dedicated Corporate Marketing Department, Kopenhagen Fur is looking for an ambitious and experienced Marketing Manager with strong project management skills and an international outlook, to strengthen our marketing impact in relation to our Auctions and International Sales.
Kopenhagen Fur is cooperatively owned by the members of the Danish Fur Breeders Association founded in 1930. We are the world’s leading provider of fur skins, recognized for exceptional quality. The core business is centered around five annual auctions, which take place in the auction house in Glostrup.
But Kopenhagen Fur is more than a cooperative and an auction house. We have recently set out on a journey to lift the company from being the world's largest fur auction house to our new vison of being the world's leading sustainable fur house.
This journey entails that marketing is a proactive, business oriented and creative entity of Kopenhagen Fur. You will have a key role in driving the marketing agenda using a customer centric approach with initiatives that are relevant and value adding. You will make sure we understand the needs and dynamics of the market and the entire costumer journey, and address them in the most purposeful and effective way.
As our Marketing Manager for Auctions and International Sales you will be the focal point for developing and executing customer-centric marketing initiatives that ensures high customer attraction, engagement and retention. It is crucial that you stay abreast of changes in assigned marketing environment to best serve the objectives and adjusts plans accordingly. You will work closely with our Chief Auctioneer, Customer Service and the International Sales team on both a strategic and tactical level. You will report to Henriette Glæsel VP Marketing.
- Develop customer-focused marketing initiatives
- Develop and execute on the marketing plans
- Define key performance indicators and ensure tracking and evaluation
- Be the marketing sparring partner for your key stakeholders
- Design and execute initiatives that exploit the full potential of our auctions (being a unique market place)
- Develop customer insights and value propositions
- Work with all parts of the business to ensure maximum impact of your initiatives
- Experience with B2B marketing
- An excellent project manager
- Proven strength in stakeholder management in complex environments
- Strong strategic, conceptual and planning skills
- Creative mindset
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of Russian and/or Chinese is a plus
Your profile and background
You perform well under deadlines and feel at ease both working on individual projects as well as being part of a team. As a person you are confident, dynamic, flexible, good at building relationships and possess a “can do” attitude and like to have fun.
You have minimum 5 years of experience as marketing manager within B2B, with a master in marketing or equivalent.
Our Marketing Department
You can expect to work with fun and energetic colleagues in our Marketing Department and to work in a dynamic and international environment. We are currently five employees and expecting three more including you. You will be a part of our commercial division and work closely with different departments but especially our departments Auctions & International Sales which is your focus area. Furthermore, we are known to serve the best food in our restaurant and to have an informal work environment with helpful colleagues.
