Finite Element Analysis (FEA) specialist

We are looking for a new colleague to join our group of FEA specialists, belonging to the Engineering Production (EP) Technology Development Department. The main focus of our team is to design and develop advanced pressure bearing equipment, exposed to high pressure and high temperatures. We primarily use ANSYS for our analyses.
The EP Technology Development Department is a competence centre for structural mechanics, fluid dynamics, materials science and mechanical and process development. As our new FEA specialist, you will be part of a global team of highly dedicated and skilled colleagues; 3 located in Denmark, 2 in India and 1 in Russia. We believe in a high degree of knowledge sharing and involvement of all expert fields in our projects.
- Development of internal FEA tools in Python
- Thermal analysis and stress analysis of critical constructional details
- Design of pressure vessels and steel structures
- Linear and non-linear analysis including creep problems
- Participation in development and troubleshooting.

You are a mechanical engineer with an emphasis on solid mechanics and the FE method and with expert knowledge within programming and software development, we use Python. You must communicate well in English. You Have at least 5 years of experience coming with experience from relevant fields. Knowledge about the use of our FEA software (ANSYS and COMSOL) will be an advantage. Likewise, familiarity with pressure vessel codes such as ASME VIII-2 as well as EN 13445 is a desired competence.
