You’re the gate keeper to secure our transformational journey 

Telenor Denmark is on an exciting transformational journey moving towards our global ambition to be our customers’ preferred partner in digital life. Our focus has now shifted from many smaller projects to bigger and more complex programs with a huge organizational impact in almost all programs. At the Programs & Change department, we’re striving to have a fully known and appreciated Change Approach in everything we do in Telenor – just as everyone today knows our Project Management approach. It is now our ambition to develop and implement a more systematic approach towards Change Management in the entire business.  

In relation to our ongoing transformation a New Way of Work (NWoW) has been launched. This approach is completely different compared to our existing way of work. As Head of Change & Methods you will be responsible for sustaining and continuously improving this NWoW during the next 3-5 years. You will lead a team of dedicated Change Managers and Method Stewards and be the owner as well as gate keeper of the entire Change Approach for all our programs. Furthermore, you will successfully manage the Method Stewards towards improving and implementing the NWoW specifically and secure a strong roll-out across the whole organization.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement a common Change Management approach 
  • Maintain a proactive delivery management approach, meaning to monitor and track change activities across projects and operations through our Change Managers 
  • Improve our Change Toolbox in relation to the ever evolving NWoW, both in relation to our Strategic Projects 
  • Actively supporting the transformation related to digitalization and NWoW in our cross functional interfaces coming from the new operating model 
  • Enable continuous improvement and act as practice leader, coach, advise and support staff when needed 

Solid analytical toolbox equipped with a curious and energetic personality 

We have started our transformation but have a long way to go still. With our customers at the front and center, we need to increase our transformation speed and bring it to the next level. You enjoy new challenges, adapt quickly to new situations and cope well with uncertainty – you’re used to delivering efficiently in a demanding, ever-changing environment, with tight deadlines. As a person you’re thus energetic, self-driven and thrive in an agile organization with the ambition to challenge our legacy by designing a future proof way of work. You have a can do- approach to everything you do and are curious and willing to learn. You have solid management and/or leadership skills, and are good at developing effective strategies and cultivate an inspiring vision for the future. On the other hand, you’re not afraid of “digging in” and deliver hands on support and deliverables when needed. You’re an excellent networker and quickly establish relations with people across the organization. Finally, you see problem solving as one of your key strengths and have a solid analytical toolbox that makes you excellent at understanding complex problems.

Furthermore, you probably have: 

  • a relevant master’s degree in business administration, economics, change management or similar where you have consistently delivered top tier performance  
  • min. 5-6 years of experience with change management, preferably from management consultancy 
  • have some management experience, but the right mindset and talent is more important to us 
  • you speak and write English and preferably Danish or at least “Scandinavian” fluently

You will report to the Director of Strategic Programs & Change and have 19 experienced colleagues with competencies within change-, portfolio and project management.
