Then you might be the new colleague we are looking for to take on the challenging position as the new HR Business Partner for Region North, covering Germany, Switzerland and the Nordic countries.
As Regional HR Business Partner, you become part of a team of professional and ambitious HR Business Partners supporting each their part of BESTSELLER’s organisation. You represent Region North in the development of global HR in BESTSELLER, reporting to the HR Director.
You will be based in Denmark, but covering your region will require you to travel on a regular basis to the individual countries. Here, you collaborate closely with the Regional Director, Country Management and the HR colleagues within the region. You will furthermore be supported by your colleagues in the central HR department.
The position is new and therefore you will be part of forming the role yourself. You will be representing the region in the global HR development and must ensure regional alignment when needed and aoptimization of the processes when possible. Based on your solid HR experience and your insight into retail, you identify current and future business needs, designing strategic HR initiatives and increasing HR visibility. In collaboration with the HR department, you ensure that HR initiatives are aligned with both the global HR strategy and the local business strategies.
Alongside your responsibility for Region North, you will be expected to contribute to the development of HR in BESTSELLER, so you participate actively in cross-disciplinary development projects and knowledge sharing between partners and specialists.
More specifically, your tasks include:
- Execution of HR initiatives in collaboration with the local HR colleagues in the region and the core HR in Denmark
- Analysis of regional trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Challenging and supporting the organisational development in the region
- Supporting the Regional Director in HR matters
- Supporting ongoing business needs through regular visit to HR colleagues across the region
- Relevant Master’s degree within strategy, organisation, HRM or similar
- Min. 3 years’ experience as HR Business Partner from an international company
- Min. 5 years’ experience within HR
- Experience from the retail business
- Familiar with implementing HR tools and processes globally
- Fluent in English and German, written and spoken
You are analytical and structured in your way of working and have an excellent ability to prioritise, which enable you to make a difference to the organisation strategically while performing on the operational level as well.
You are a strong communicator with a positive energy, and you thrive in a position where you collaborate with colleagues across cultures and organisational layers.
You earn respect for your competences, your professionalism and your understanding of the business needs, making you a trusted sounding board for Country Management when it comes to people and organisational development.
You are self-motivated and can work independently but always ensure a fruitful cooperation and knowledge sharing with the colleagues around you. You have a professional, strategic and humble approach and always strive for a business oriented and cost-saving solution.
We look forward to hearing from you
