Marketing is pivotal in making sure that we expand our position and leverage the opportunities in the market. In our Global Commercial Development team we are 15 highly dedicated colleagues with responsibility for segment strategies, value propositions of our global product portfolio, new launches, and setting the direction for our future innovations.

Hansen you will join a very successful, global market leader in our ambitious quest to expand our animal health business through a restructuring of our internal planning systems, and B2B digital marketing strategy. Your tasks  

In Chr. Hansen we see an enormous potential for growth in the animal health segment. A key part of our growth strategy is heavy investments in a re-structuring and up-scaling of our marketing coordination and planning together with our regional divisions and large distributor network. Based on a lead generating digital marketing strategy, and improved coordination efforts, we are setting sails towards developing full market potential in South America and APAC in addition to our strong position in the European and North American markets. Your main responsibilities will be as follows:  

  • Coordination of all material creations through our new marketing planning system (MediaTool).  
  • Drive marketing engagement with distributors and regional sales- and marketing colleagues.  
  • Technical implementation support to distributors and regional sales- and marketing coordinators.  
  • Support the development and execution of our new marketing strategy.  
  • Lead the execution of event marketing (trade shows and conferences) and contribute to the prioritization, especially ensuring solid ROMI.  
  • Drive customer marketing insight projects through lead reporting and data handling + follow up with sales and distributors on incoming leads.  
  • Ad hoc assignments.  

Besides Global- and Regional Marketing and the rest of the Commercial Development team, your primary contacts will be regional sales teams, R&D, Regulatory and our distributor’s marketing departments. You can look forward to travel 4-5 times per year to meet colleagues and partners all over the world.  

Your personal profile  

An ideal background for this exciting job could be a couple of years’ experience within a similar position, preferably within the food- or agricultural industry. You can also be newly graduated with a commercial degree. If so, you will need to be in the top 10% of your class. Regardless of your background you must be detail oriented, structured, highly motivated to move our business forward, and always strive to meet high expectations.  

  • You apply a service minded approach towards your internal and external stakeholders.  
  • You master the ability to move between strategic and operational levels on a daily basis.  
  • You have strong communication and relation building skills to secure strong dialogue with our customer groups and internal stakeholders.  

To succeed, you must thrive in a very dynamic environment where the only constant is change. You must be able to cope with lack of information and uncertainty without losing your positive mindset and drive for results. As you will be in contact with multiple people – internally and externally – you will need all of your collaboration skills including your ability to understand different agendas in a complex stakeholder landscape.

Commercial Development – your new team  

You will join a growing team of 15 highly skilled and motivated colleagues in Animal Commercial Development at the Chr. Hansen headquarters in Hørsholm, approx. 30 minutes drive north of the Copenhagen city center. We are responsible for global product development, portfolio development, strategic marketing, and business strategy within the animal health segment. We are very ambitious and share a dedication for being #1 within our field of expertise.
