Your new role

You have the unique opportunity to join ROCKWOOL from the inception of a new journey focusing on the next steps of digitising. The digital focus will be aimed on factories, supply chains and work towards Factory 4.0. SAP and other key solutions are corner stones in ROCKWOOL’s architecture, but they need to develop within IOT, big data and analytics and provide an even more efficient production and advanced supply chain. You will be a trusted advisor for business management, IT management, senior management and vendors, and your will have a leading role in the definition and execution of the architecture for ROCKWOOL’s digital processes. You will be a part of the Enterprise Architecture team of ROCKWOOL.
As a Supply Chain Architect you will have responsibilities within creating and maintenance of target architecture for ROCKWOOL’s digital supply chain and Production journey. You will engage in projects and deliveries, ensuring the right quality in the solution design and delivery. In addition to this, you will participate in driving innovation concepts and developing them into value creating projects. As a Supply Chain Architect, you will be responsible for your own architecture area and you will govern and police on the work performed by development teams and consultants.

What you’ll need to succeed

You are passionate and highly experienced within supply chain and production with knowledge from projects where you created roadmaps for the digital journeys in cooperation with other architects and key stakeholders. You possess a natural interest in and talent for IT, architecture, supply chain, production, digital solutions and how it can benefit the business.
Experience with several business areas in SAP is paramount, and experience with internal and hosted cloud solutions and integrations in a heterogeneous IT environment is preferred. It is ideal if you have acquired knowledge from working in large global IT landscapes and with ROCKWOOL’s focus on agile delivery, it is important that you have experience within this field. You have a proven track record with design and implementation of solutions within production and supply chain and you are familiar with architectural and processing modelling methods.
You are a natural team-player, offering strong analytical skills and thriving in providing visible business results. You show drive and ability to motivate your colleagues and possess excellent English skills, spoken and written. You have a good understanding of different cultures and strong communication skills, with a personal impact that allows you to convince your stakeholders. You must expect travel to make analyses or projects around 20-30 days per year.
