Operations & Vendor Manager in an outsourced international environment

Do you want to take operational and strategic responsibility for a Microsoft based ERP in an outsourced environment for a global Danish company? 

On behalf of Widex that reside in Lynge north of Copenhagen we are looking for a manager who would enjoy being responsible for ERP operations in an outsourced environment. You will have full responsibility for the outsourcing contract including daily operations and economy. Widex is currently implementing Microsoft AX ERP solution in EMEA and continuing worldwide.

Can you bring managerial ERP experience from another international enterprise?

We are looking for a skilled operational and vendor manager with a solid offset from an ERP environment – it is not so important which one – but rather that you have vast processual expertise and can make things happen between people. You are structured, adapt well to an international environment, and you have experience managing external vendors. As a person, you enjoy to execute and bring not only energy and humour to the office but also run your business in a structured and trustworthy way.

Expected key tasks

  • Manage the external ERP vendor. Ensure quality and stability in operations
  • Incident management
  • Build internal processed based on ITIL
  • There is currently no direct people management associated with to job

Your background

We expect you to have a relevant and well documented professional background and hold a university degree. You have the right practical and people skills combined with non-negotiable good results from a similar position. Therefore, you will probably have years of experience and a background maybe as project manager at some point in time. You are of course fluent in both written and spoken English.

You will be working in a changing environment with skilled colleagues in a global IT function. The culture is informal, team oriented and fast moving – and sometimes not – so you will also need to be patient. Micro management is a city we never heard of so you should also expect to take responsibility and act on your own.
