Partner Manager for Sales Department
Would you like to be captain of our international sales partner network?
EIVA is an engineering company operating in the offshore industry. We offer hardware, software and services such as rental, maintenance and training to customers worldwide, who specialise in offshore wind, oil and gas, and construction, just to name a few.
Though located here in Denmark, we are connected to land and sea points all over the globe. These include a number of partners located throughout the world, who help us ensure that our customers can successfully map oceans, discover forgotten mines and build wind turbines.
Currently, we are on the lookout for a partner manager who can grow the sales of both our software and hardware products through our sales channel partners on a global level, more specifically, our distributors and agents, by motivating them to focus on EIVA products and supporting them through regular dialogue.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
Training of channel partners
Initiating sales and product training for our partners and coordinating this with EIVA product specialists. Training our partners is essential in order to make them as self-sufficient as possible and thereby more comfortable in promoting EIVA products and understanding customer needs.
Coordination of activities
Defining local activities together with our partners and supporting them in carrying out these activities. This may also include coordinating with relevant EIVA colleagues.
Support and follow-up
Following up with partners on agreed market activities, sales forecasting, etc and supporting them in their work when necessary.
Streamlining sales and marketing material application
Ensuring that partners have access to the latest sales and marketing material such as product presentations, brochures, specifications, case studies, etc, and ensuring through training that they feel comfortable in applying the material.
Gathering and ensuring that EIVA and our partners actively use market intelligence such as market trends, competitor information, case studies, relevant exhibitions and conferences, etc.
We are looking for a person who…
- Works in a structured manner and has strong communication skills
- Comes with a relevant educational background, such as Export Engineering, Global Business Engineering or other relevant engineering degree, combined with a strong technical and commercial focus
- Is the type of person who enjoys chasing leads and ensuring that their names make it to the order book
- Is outgoing and enjoys interacting with different types of profiles and nationalities
- Possesses exceptionally strong English skills, both verbally and in writing
Ideally, you have experience in managing B2B channel partners with a focus on technical products.
Offshore industry product and market knowledge is desirable but not a requirement. We know that we operate in a niche industry, so if you’re new to the offshore world, we’ll equip you with the necessary introduction to our software and hardware solutions before you’re thrown into the EIVA waters.
You will be working out of our offices in Stilling (just one minute away from E45, 15 minutes away from Aarhus by car and easy to get to by bus). Yet, you can expect to be traveling a few days a year, since you will be fostering both existing and new partner relationships.
When you’re part of the EIVA crew…
… you’re part of a company with a very informal and open workplace culture where it is possible to make your mark if you see undiscovered opportunities. We work with high-end, innovative technology in an inspiring environment where freedom under responsibility is a key parameter.
We value proper balance between work and private life, and 15th, 20th and even 25th anniversaries are not a rare sight among our colleagues. We offer various benefits such as a pension scheme and health insurance, a canteen that no one leaves with an empty stomach, and a very active social calendar.
