Marketing & Communication Consultant

Do you have solid experience in developing, managing and executing marketing activities at both the operational as well as the strategic level? Do you see yourself in an international organisation where you will work across different cultures and have the opportunity to reposition marketing and communication? Then you could be the Marketing & Communication Consultant our customer Fred. Olsen Windcarrier is looking for. You will become part of a small commercial team at the office in Fredericia, and you will report directly to the CCO.

Support commercial activities and continue developing the brand

As Marketing & Communication Consultant you will take responsibility for the marketing strategy and ensure a high level of brand awareness of the Fred. Olsen Windcarrier brand. Primary areas of responsibility will include:

  • Developing marketing campaigns
  • Updating and optimising the company website
  • Preparing and writing technical, fact-based cases and content for internal and external communication
  • Managing communication on SoMe channels
  • Planning and participating in fairs and customer events
  • Work together with external agencies on graphical design
  • Writing press releases and doing interviews

It is important that you are capable of using your commercial and creative mindset at a strategic level as well as being hands-on while executing the activities. The split between operational and strategic tasks is expected to be 80/20.

Experienced marketing and communication profile with technical understanding

Preferably, you hold a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree and carry several years' experience with marketing from a technical or maritime organisation. Experience from the renewables industry will be an advantage but not a prerequisite. You are a good writer capable of communicating technical information in a creative and inspiring language. Furthermore, you have experience in developing marketing plans and managing the marketing budget in a professional manner. On a personal level, you are outgoing and open-minded, and you are able to communicate at all levels of a technical organisation. You have a solid cultural understanding and navigates as a true team player. You are self-driven, solution-oriented and structured in your way of working, and you prioritise and handle different tasks at the same time without losing focus. Last, but not least, you have excellent English skills, both in writing and in speech.
