About the department
The Diabetes Therapy area is part of Global Research and consists of four Vice President (VP) areas in Denmark, one in Seattle US and one in Oxford UK.
You will report to and be Personal Assistant (PA) for the Corporate Vice President (CVP) of the Diabetes therapy area. In addition, you will support the CVP partner and the management team.
Apart from the PA role for the CVP, the job covers a broad range of administrative tasks, e.g. budget monthly follow up and quarterly adjustments including consolidated reports for the CVP area, maintenance and support of webpages, people administration, preparing meeting agendas and minutes and follow up on action lists, purchasing of supplies and services, booking of travel, ad hoc administrative tasks.
You will work in a dynamic and challenging high performance environment under constant development.
You have an eye for details and are able to work independently, prioritise multiple simultaneous tasks and manage your own time effectively, working closely with the CVP and the management team.
You have an administrative background with a Bachelor/Master's preferably in Science and/or specialised Business Education. You are a skilled user of IT systems, including MS Office and preferably SAP. Experience from a previous job within the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
You are a team player. You take initiative and like new challenges. You can handle simultaneous tasks and are able to complete them, even when you are busy. You are stress resistant, engaged, positive and willing to actively contribute to the CVP area. You communicate fluently in written and verbal Danish and English.
