You will as Client Relationship Manager undertake a Key Position in further strengthening the relationship with existing clients within The Nordic region – especially Denmark/Sweden. In this attractive international financial institution, who has a solid and profitable client base, the strategic focus is profitable expansion.
Referring to your client portfolio it is your responsibility to develop the commercial relation with your clients by enhancing the activity with current clients and, if applicable, expand to other entities within the same group.
Managing the portfolio will take basis in three broad areas:
- provision of good customer service and development of the current client relationships,
- assessment of the overall risk of each relationship on an ongoing basis,
- maximizing the income from the portfolio.
The job spans from a strategic approach to the operational client relationship approach including hands-on relationship building. This also contains preparation of credit applications (although with some support from a Business Analyst), performing client business reviews in a timely manner, negotiation/amendment of legal documentation as well as follow up on clients’ performance etc. In this role, you refer directly to the Head of Client Relations in Denmark.

Your educational background is preferable at a Master/BA-level in a financial/economic perspective. Alternatively, if you have a proven experience from a client relationship management, the educational requirement can be eliminated.
The basic requirement is an experience in terms of 3-5 years of experience from the financial industry handling B2B relations, hence the (Nordic) large corporate segment. This could be from factoring, leasing, credit insurance or banking/financing in general. Knowledge/experience from credit assessments is a requirement, and legal insight to contractual law in practice is desired.
You are business-oriented, proactive, results-driven and motivated by managing a client portfolio. You work independently and proactively with a relationship-building approach and excellent communication/presentation/negotiation skills. You are proficient in Excel/Word and fluent in Danish/English – both in speak/writing. You will be visiting clients primarily in Denmark and Sweden, and the daily working place is the BNP Factor office in Glostrup.
