We are looking for a talented business developer able to manage our existing activities in food diagnostics and bring them to the next level. This next level includes the development of digital related services. We are therefore seeking someone that has both a business background and a high interest in technologies and digitalization of manufacturing operations.

Leading the Tests and Equipment business development and product management team
It will be your responsibility to define, in collaboration with Sr. Director and the Food Cultures & Enzymes Leadership Team, the strategy for each of your business areas: test kits for dairy, connected equipment for dairy, new tests, equipment and IT applications.
- Execute the defined strategy: manage and develop your products portfolio, launch new products and services, support commercial execution, secure product & supply are managed adequately to optimize the P&L
- Scout for new technologies, engage with new suppliers and drive the innovation pipeline
- Monitor and report top line performance and lead indicators on performance
- Manage 1 FTE, Global Marketing Manager; team to be extended according to business results and needs
Management skills and a strong business acumen is a must
As educational background, you need to hold a MSc. plus a MBA or at least 3 to 5 years of experience managing a range of biotech products or analytical equipment. Managerial experience is needed and, to complete this picture, a preliminary exposure to digital projects is required.
You need to be energetic, highly autonomous and passionate with business development and entrepreneurship. You will at the same time serve your key stakeholders, negotiate long term partnerships with new suppliers and keep an eye on the value chain details to optimize your P&L. You are a fast learner eager to understand both the large picture, market trends, growth drivers and the technical details that will make the difference. You have a passion for digitalization projects and how new services, applications and devices can improve customers experiences.
Your new team
The department is an existing unit operating in a very agile way. At the beginning, you will be responsible for 1 FTE. Be ready to travel the world up to 50-60 days a year.
