On behalf of our client LOGSTOR, we are searching for an experienced Pricing Manager with the aim of improving the pricing structure across the organization.
Your new company
LOGSTOR is a leading supplier of pre-insulated pipe systems for energy-efficient transportation of liquids and gases for district heating and cooling, marine and industrial purposes as well as oil and gas pipelines. Their systems consist of flexible and rigid pipes, joints, fittings and surveillance. Inventing the pre-insulated pipe technology more than 50 years ago, they have delivered more than 200,000 km of pre-insulated pipes.
They are headquartered in Løgstør, Denmark with subsidiaries in Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Sweden, UK and Switzerland as well as a network of agents and sales offices. Their seven production facilities are situated in Denmark, Poland, Sweden and Finland with supplementary mobile production units currently set up in Indonesia. LOGSTOR employs approximately 1,200 people.
Your new role
As Pricing Manager referring to CCO, Peter Agneborn, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new pricing structure across the group and worldwide. The position will have a vital role within the company as they are in a situation where raw materials have huge effect on their financials, market respond slow on price increases, producers suffer in the supply chain and competitors act in an unprofessional way. In regards to this, there will be tasks at both strategic, tactical and operational level.
Within the headline saying development and implementation of new pricing strategy, areas of responsibility especially concerns building up a stronger focus on pricing across the organization in close corporation with both Product Management, Regional Sales VP’s, Area Sales Managers and the CEO. Furthermore, tasks are regarding evaluation of product cost to define pricing strategies, establishment of effective governance, analysing market surveillance, trends and competitors. Coordinating sales, public relations, advertising and marketing personnel to implement pricing models are also included.
Your roadmap to success
Ideally, you come with an educational background within quantitative analysis, e.g. a Master’s Degree in Economics or similar. In regards to work experience, you have min. 3-5 years of experience from a similar position in an international and complex environment. Also, you have solid experience with project/program management.
As speed, will be a factor for success, you must be self-motivated and hold a large drive. Strong commercial skills and technical flair is a requirement. Furthermore, you have experience in and thrive on working with project pricing and contract bidding and negotiations. You are also able to execute through other people in the organization
