This is the role
This role is a key position in the supply chain team and you will join a dedicated team of supply chain specialists, where you will provide a highly qualified service to the ROCKWOOL Group and its operating companies worldwide regarding optimisation of supply chain management within the Group in general.
The aim of the team is to channel the efforts into becoming cost efficient, managing the company’s global capacity, improving forecasting and becoming even more customer oriented while maintaining a healthy level of complexity in the supply chain.
This is the responsibilities
In this position, you will lead the implementation of best practices within own areas across the ROCKWOOL Group. Moreover, you will support the global companies in the Group implementing S&OP processes and ensure implementation of other agreed priorities within supply chain excellence. Additionally, together with the team you will lead the medium and long-term capacity planning at Group level and support decision-making for major investments.
The objective of the position is furthermore to develop and improve forecasting and reporting processes as well as capacity planning tools. You will also facilitate knowledge sharing within supply chain management and S&OP to ensure organisational alignment and reach organisational objectives.
This is what you bring
You hold a Master’s degree and you have experience in operations analysis such as excel modelling and linear programming. You have an innovative mindset and possess a natural talent for identifying improvement opportunities in processes and deliveries. It is important that you possess exceptionally strong analytical skills and perform equally well independently and in global cross-organizational teams. You have a solid supply chain experience having mastered both project management and complex data analysis.
Furthermore, you proactively act on your observations and always ensure your deliveries are of high quality. Experience with SAP or Business Warehouse is preferred, as the position entails big data processing.
