Your new role
On behalf of our client, UCB, Hays is offering a This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Scandinavian Immunology Team, and characterize the immunology therapy area publicly through scientific expertise. The function has developed rapidly during last years, and serves of vital importance for the organization. In the role, you will be provided with a high level of empowerment and achieve a close cooperation with key internal and external experts. It is an extrovert role, where you will spend approximately 60% of your time externally focused.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to succeed in the role, it is all-important that you thrive with the profound science and evidence based therapy understanding, combined with the outreaching and communicative work. You must be motivated by being a key speaker for UCB within one of the company’s core areas.
In order to be taken into consideration for the role, holding academic and research weight are crucial. A PhD or Master’s degree within medicine, pharmacy or natural sciences will constitute a favourable basis in our selection for the role. Experience within immunology will serve advantageous given the scope of the role. Possessing relevant experience from the pharmaceutical industry, in a role as Medical Science Liaison or similar, will prove highly beneficial - in continuation hereof, we do expect a minimum of two years’ experience from such a position. Fluency in Norwegian/Danish and English a must.
Lastly, the mind-set of the candidate is all-important. You thrive with driving and initiating projects and possess a structured and organized approach to your work. Meeting with key opinion leaders and discussing science is an incentive, and building strong professional relationships internally and externally comes easy to you.
