Your new role
On behalf of our client, MSD, Hays is looking for a Customer Manager Vaccines to enter a crucial role in MSD’s Vaccines team. The Customer Manager Vaccines is the primary commercial point of contact in a designated area of vaccines and is accountable for the customer experience, coordinating internal resources and personnel to meet the needs of the customer. In this role, you will 1) Develop long-lasting relationships with relevant specialists at hospitals and private clinics and identify and execute on opportunities for collaboration to improve public health and 2) Work closely with the regional organization to adapt & localize the brand strategies and ensure omni-channel customer engagement, including digital initiatives and appropriate non-promotional and promotional material. You will have an important role in driving the transformation in MSD’s go to market model, leveraging new and existing channels, and in innovating the way MSD collaborates and interacts with their customer universe by working on digital and other omni-channel solutions. You will work 50% directly with customers and 50% with omni-channel marketing and communication.
This is a critical role in ensuring broad access to MSD’s vaccines, thereby protecting current and future generations from preventable infectious diseases. Customer Manager Vaccines, Denmark has responsibility for driving the development of an integrated plan and for executing according to the commercial metrics and budget for designated vaccines in Denmark. The position reports to the Business Unit Lead, Vaccines.
What you'll need to succeed
The preferred candidate possesses a Master’s degree from an accredited university, experience in developing long-lasting relationships to identify and execute on opportunities for collaboration to improve public health, and experience in omni-channel customer and brand management. You possess a minimum of 4-5 years’ professional experience within these areas either in the pharmaceutical industry or in other industries, holding valuable knowledge with demonstrable results. A strong ability to communicate clinical and economic value propositions is a requirement as is understanding of public health policy making. Experience within vaccines will serve advantageous in our selection for the role, but is not crucial. Fluency in Danish and English is a must. On a personal level, you are an outgoing and distinct team player who likes to take ownership and devise and implement pro-active solutions; a strong implementer with a can-do and collaborative attitude.
