Customer Service Consultant

Customer-focused professional - order handling - transport planning - fluent in English & Danish

Being part of our global Customer Service Team, you will work closely with colleagues in customer service, sales, marketing and distribution, taking care of both front and back office responsibilities. You will provide our customers with excellent customer service from our headquarters in Skive.

Solution-oriented and customer-focused professional

You will share best practice with your colleagues and keep a constant focus on continuous improvement of internal processes. You will play an important role in ensuring that customers consider Vikan their preferred partner. You will work with external transport partners, and internally you will have close working relations with colleagues in Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Shipping and Distribution to secure a smooth flow between customers and Vikan. Your primary tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Handling and registration of orders
  • Handle customer requests and requests from colleagues in sales
  • Shipment planning
  • Book transports, follow up and problem solving around deliveries
  • Generate shipping documents
  • Master data maintenance
  • CRM and leads
  • Proof reading

Efficient and extrovert teamplayer with experience from a similar position in customer service

You have a commercial and administrative background and hold a Bachelor's degree or similar. You have experience with customer service, preferably from a similar position in an international company. Mastery of English and Danish both in speaking and writing is a must. Your professional experience includes:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience from a similar position
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • Solid experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft AX 2012)
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with transportation planning/shipping is required
  • Mastery of German an extra plus but not a requirement
