For the newly created Life Sciences division, offering dedicated programs for effective cleaning and disinfection to the Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Industry, Ecolab is looking for a National Key Account Manager Nordics reporting to the Regional Sales Manager Eastern Europe.
Your new role
On behalf of Ecolab, Hays is looking for a National Key Account Manager Nordics to manage the Nordic territory of the business. In this role, the National Key Account Manager leads the execution of the growth strategy for designated key mid-tier or corporate accounts, ensuring co-ordination among the regional sales team and effective communication with the Regional Sales Manager, Corporate Account Managers and the Local Distributor Partner. As National Key Account Manager Nordics, you will liaise with Global Corporate accounts team to implement global account strategy, global programs and best practices. You will develop Annual Key Account Plan and Annual Business Review and manage new pricing implementation. In addition, you will develop and implement strategy for rolling out new products to existing accounts and maintain up to date pipeline and current sales forecasts. It is crucial that you develop and maintain a spirit of teamwork with all associated Ecolab personnel to build business and achieve growth goals.
What you’ll need to succeed
You have, as a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related discipline. You possess five or more years of B2B sales experience, preferably with Corporate Accounts or Key Account management experience. You have at least five years full-time professional experience in a pharmaceutical, cosmetic or similar manufacturing environment. You possess outstanding consulting skills and excellent planning and organizational skills. In order to thrive in this role, you will have to have a proven ability to deliver results and possess a strong desire to succeed in a competitive environment. You hold exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and know how to executive presence to influence senior decision-makers. It is crucial that you possess the ability to take initiative, work independently and prioritize multiple projects with strong follow-through and sense of urgency. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 70%, mostly within Nordics, including overnight travel is a must. Excellent English and strong computer skills (MS Office Suite) as well as experience with CRM systems are a strong benefit. Excellent English and fluency in either Danish, Swedish or Norwegian is a must.
