Chief Financial Officer
Financial planning and modelling – Supporting growth scenario
Strong analytical skills – Direct impact on business model
Reporting to the COO and as a member of the top management team, you will play an important role in the continuous growth and development of Coinify. You will have the overall responsibility for the finance department and all tasks related to reporting, financial modelling, annual reports and business controlling. You will manage a team of 2-3 controllers/accountants and will be working closely together with the whole organisation, as well as external partners (banks, payment service providers, auditors, etc).
In the current phase, the focus is on further development of the platform, the business model and partnerships. The current business model has secured an impressive growth – adjusting and optimizing aspects of the model is important in relation to supporting the role as market leader in a very dynamic market place. In relation to new partnerships there will be company due diligence tasks, where you will take on a role as project manager. You will provide important insight and input to the business model, by doing risk analysis, financial modelling, liquidity analysis, planning and optimising financial and administrative processes – all with the aim to ensure a scalable and solid business platform. Board work and participation will be expected.
As a manager you will have an important role in developing the team and also making sure that the requirements from the market and customers are supported by efficient administrative systems. Your responsibility and tasks will be quite diverse and while operating within a start-up, it is vital that you combine your analytical skills with a hands-on approach. You are able to prioritize your own and your team’s efforts and focus on actions that will have direct impact. The CFO will be an integral part of the executive committee, and will together with the COO and CEO focus on bringing the company through the next growth phases.
Analytical doer – Experience with payment systems or trading platforms
You have an educational background within finance, accounting or business management and you have combined your education with several years of work experience within controlling, finance or business modelling. You have gained this experience in roles as senior business controller, finance manager, consultant, CFO or similar. We are open towards your industry background and in-depth knowledge of blockchain-technology is not required, but most likely you have several years of experience working with payment systems, trading platforms, treasury management software or other financial software. Experience in venture capital, M&A or capital markets is a plus.
As a person you are well structured, analytical and “a doer”. You combine your financial knowledge and leadership skills with a social and outgoing personality.
Dynamic market and organisation – International growth
You will play a pivotal role in a growth organisation with big ambitions. You will be part of a very dynamic environment, working with an interesting business model based on blockchain-technology and the possibility of transforming aspects of the financial sector. The team is agile, and the market is moving fast. For the right candidate, it will be possible to include warrants/options aligning your motivation with the long-term goals of the company.
