Head of Data & Analytics in Wholesale Banking Operations, Global

The offer

As Head of Data & Analytics you will establish a new business support function directly responsible for data governance and processing with an objective to deliver data dashboards to support business functions of Wholesale Banking Operations (WBO), optimise and improve daily business.

What you’ll be doing:  

  • Transform strategy into operational tasks  
  • Creating data dashboards and data governance  
  • Daily management of a global team with approx. 9 employees (Nordics & Poland)  
  • Work with transforming the culture of the team to become more result and improvement oriented  
  • Work closely with stakeholders throughout the WBO value chain  
  • Creating a high focus on daily business support with insightful deliveries  

Bringing an analytical yet forward looking perspective is an important asset in this role. Working with cultural change and knowing how to energise and motivate your people/organisation is expected to be one of your core competences.

You utilise data dashboards and employ operational excellence, are methodical in your approach creating valuable insights through proactive use of tools and digital technology.

Your background:  

  • A track record from a data management and business improvement environment with a digitalisation agenda is valued highly
  • You have a good strategic understanding and can articulate the overall direction in a clear and transparent way
  • You have a relevant degree, preferably at Master level, and 3-5 years of experience leading others

Furthermore, we expect that you have:  

  • A strong analytical sense and a proven track record of executing operational strategies and change processes in a structured manner with both a strategic and tactical perspective
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • A continuous improvement agenda
  • Willingness to take ownership and challenge existing norms
  • Excellent English language skills
