Business Analyst in Novo Nordisk Corporate Facilities Finance

About The Department

Corporate Facilities is part of Business Services & Compliance in Novo Nordisk. We are responsible for real estate management, building projects and facility services throughout Novo Nordisk in Denmark. In the Finance team we are responsible for managing and controlling an annual cost budget of around DKK 2 billion and a net book value of DKK 4 billion.

The aim of the Finance team is to create value through finance partnering with our stakeholders by combining strong financial competencies with a deep understanding of the business in which we operate. To do this we collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation. We invest significantly in developing our employees through sparring, feedback and by giving a high level of responsibility to individuals. You will experience a continuing steep learning curve, enabling future career opportunities in the Novo Nordisk organisation.

The position

As Business Analyst you will help drive our business, set financial strategies and implement financial governance. You will partner with departments in Corporate Facilities to develop and drive financial management. You will be responsible for the financial planning, provide senior management reporting, business plan execution and creating the financial basis for decision making.

In this role you will get a deep understanding of the organisation, interact directly with senior stakeholders across Novo Nordisk, participate in selected management fora and get insights to the financial priorities in Corporate Facilities. Furthermore, in order to optimise business processes and influence the development in Corporate Facilities you will be involved in various projects as well as prepare ad-hoc analyses and business cases for stakeholders in the organisation.


The candidate we are looking for has completed a Master's degree in Business Administration or Economics with excellent results. You are about to start you career or have 1-2 years of experience working with controlling, reporting or financial analysis. You have a self-starter mind-set and a proven track-record of identifying opportunities and implementing solutions. You show a strong sense of responsibility, fully owning your work tasks while driving performance and continuously improving processes. You are fluent in written and spoken English, as well as a Scandinavian language, and you are ready to invest both time and efforts in your personal and professional development.
