Your new role
On behalf of Maersk Supply Service, Hays is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) and Vetting Advisor who will join the HSSEQ team within Vessel Management Department. As the new QA and Vetting advisor your communication skills will be essential in order to succeed. You will have the daily interaction with a broad range of stakeholders including personnel on carriers, clients, and in general contribute to an increased focus on compliance and safety due to increased demands from authorities. Therefore, you must be a strong communicator as you will have very different audiences. Combined with strong communication skills you bring in-depth knowledge of requirements within the offshore industry, and you hold a ISM Lead Auditor Certificate or equivalent. This position requires some travel activity as well as a high level of English both oral and written.
What you'll need to succeed
For the position we are looking for a profile with a solid understanding of both the offshore industry, compliance and safety measures. Ideally you hold +5 years of experience from a similar position where safety and compliance have been the two dominant factors. Also, you thrive in an international environment with constant change and focus on delivery and performance. It is expected that you will take ownership of responsibilities and independently drive processes and projects.
