Carlsberg Global Business Services offers a managerial position at Group-level with responsibility for shaping and improving the Information Security area.
Your new company
Carlsberg Global Business Services is the global provider of business services to all functions, regions and markets in the Carlsberg Group. This includes business process design, system solutions, shared services and system operations. Global Business Services employs approx. 750 people. A tight collaboration with the local markets is established in all three regions; Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Asia. Carlsberg Global Business Services is situated in Hellerup and will be moved to Valby in 2020.
Your new role
It is a very exciting time to be joining the Carlsberg Group in a Group-position due to the company’s significant investment and change in the Information Security & Access disciplines across the Group. The role as Group Information Security Manager is a key position in shaping and delivering the strategic improvements, and the position oversees defining, implementing and enforcing IT security controls, policies, guidelines and technical documentation across the Group.
As Group Information Security Manager you will lead and develop information security policies within Carlsberg Group and have responsibility for securing design and implementation of solutions to security threats in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders by acting as subject matter expert. Further, Carlsberg’s security standards are maturing to the highest level and you will have a major impact on the security reviews both within architecture design and baseline assessments of various systems.
By ensuring disaster recovery initiatives you will act as technical lead providing advice and recommendations in order to ensure that security measures are benchmarked throughout the Group. This is done by partnering with the most excellent external resources to maintain a capable security office within Carlsberg, which provides an overview to the senior management.
What you’ll need to succeed
As Group Information Security Manager you are experienced with challenging the status quo within the field of security in an international company and possesses extensive experience in technology architectures and strong knowledge of IT infrastructures, multi-platform systems and information security solutions. You have a creative and strategic mind-set and are an effective team manager with the ability to build and manage a skilled team.
You also have a strong focus and understanding of the information security industry and best practices with detailed experience in relation to the development and implementation of security policies. Further, you have experience in negotiating with management teams and project managers and have an understanding of Threat and Risk analysis methodologies and are able to deliver risk management programs.
Lastly, you have throughout your career within the security field acquired a CISSP certificate or equal and are qualified in at least one architecture discipline – ideally ISSAP. Having CISA, CISM or similar certifications are an advantage.
