About the Job:

  • Secure Syngenta Nordics portfolio through safe and sustainable registrations
  • Participation in the development of registration strategies
  • Registration of new plant protection products for the Nordic market
  • Maintain product registrations in the Nordic countries
  • Provide high quality regulatory advice and foresight to local and regional business as well as regulatory colleagues
  • Close interaction and cooperation with relevant Nordic authorities
  • Plan submissions and co-ordinate authority requests together with our product safety specialists in the UK and headquarter Switzerland (travel activity approx. 20 days a year)
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of relevant EU legislation and compliance with this in the Nordic countries.
  • Work in close co-operation within the Nordic regulatory team (5 people)


The person we seek is very happy to have:

  • A degree in  agronomy/biology/horticulture/chemistry or similar
  • Registration experience with biocides, plant protection products, medical products or similar
  • A good insight into and knowledge of toxicology and/or ecotoxicology
  • Experience in managing projects
  • Experience in management of databases and  flair of IT
  • Knowledge of legislation in the plant protection products area (Nordics and EU)
  • Fluent in at least one Scandinavian language
  • English skills that ensure effortless handling of the job (corporate language)
  • Analytical skills and the ability to work structured and autonomously and to keep many balls in the air
  • The ability to build networks both internal and external
  • It will be an advantage with knowledge of practical agriculture
  • Ability to manage complex issues without being the expert in any one discipline
  • Experienced advocacy skills
  • Clear communicator, both written and verbal
  • Motivated and engaging team player with positive attitude
