Your new company

Carlsberg Global Business Services is the global provider of business services to all functions, regions and markets in the Carlsberg Group. This includes business process design, system solutions, shared services and system operations. Global Business Services employs approx. 750 people. A tight collaboration with the local markets is established in all three regions; Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Asia. Carlsberg Global Business Services is situated in Hellerup and will be moved to Valby in 2020.

Your new role

It is a very exciting time to be joining Carlsberg due to their significant investment and change in the Information Security & Access discipline across the Group. The role as Information Security Governance Lead is a key position to shaping and delivering the strategic improvements.

As Information Security Governance Lead you will contribute to the business objectives by protecting the Carlsberg Group information assets and its brand from IT threats by understanding and reducing risks to the business.

In the role as Information Security Governance Lead, you will be responsible for oversight and coordination of the Governance, Risk and Compliance team within Information Security. You will provide leadership and development to your team and support the Senior Director IT Security & Access Management to maintain a security function within the organisation.

Your areas of responsibility will therefore involve designing and delivering procedures and controls to assure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements as well as Carlsberg Group Standards. In addition to this, you will act as the central point of contact for all risk related activities as you will manage and report risks in line with the Group risk appetite and ensure ongoing management and review. Last, but not least, you will manage, coach, lead and develop a specialist team with global responsibility.

What you’ll need to succeed

As Information Security Governance Lead you are able to work in a structured and logical manner with a solution oriented mindset and have the ability to innovate. You have an in-depth understanding of industry standard frameworks and GDPR legislation as well as an advanced knowledge of risk assessment design and delivery. You are knowledgeable of governance, risk and compliance systems and you know how to design a GRC framework. You hold experience with maturing and optimising IT security governance in a large global organisation. You will supplement this with a professional management certification, preferably CISSP, CISM or CISA. Furthermore, you will bring an understanding of Threat and Risk analysis methodologies, techniques and experience in delivering risk management programs.

As a person you have a strategic mind-set and solid communication capabilities allowing you to work across multiple teams in the organisation. You are motivated for managerial responsibility and possess strong people management and leadership skills enabling you to build well-functioning teams. You have a high level of personal drive that aides you in achieving results. Besides this, you thrive in a changing environment.
