Global Project Manager, Supply Chain Development Natural Color Division

We are looking for a unique and competent supply chain professional, who see great value in challenging the existing and drive changes. You will be based in Avedøre close to Copenhagen, together with a skilled and fun supply chain team, working on both big global and local anchored projects, in the Chr. Hansen Natural Color Division. The team covers all order handling, distribution, supply chain development and sales & operational planning processes (S&OP).
Project Manager with a focus on optimization
We have a strong customer mindset and you need to help us, to be even better at servicing our customers. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects within supply chain mainly with a focus on our global distribution and logistics setup and support to our Sales & Operational Planning team. The project work will often require the inclusion of other functional areas, such as finance, regulatory, quality assurance, communication etc. You will be reporting the progress on your projects to the management, who will be an active team player in your projects.
You get the opportunity to travel as we are a global company and you will from time to time play a part in developing our global supply chain.
Your assignment will primary cover:
- Project management, planning, execution and follow-up
- Projects could be optimization of: Freight, distribution centers, planning, order handling, standardizing packaging material, just to mention a few
- Ensure projects are delivered according to plan and budget
- Stakeholder management, like facilitating workshops, management presentation, training, communication in the broader organization
Experienced supply chain professional with excellent stakeholder management skills
The ideal candidate have 5 years’ experience from similar position within supply chain and hopefully you can bring some unique capabilities to this role.
We work in a network of more than 20 global distribution centers, so the ability to work cross cultural and cross borders is very important, why English skills in both written and vocal is a prerequisite in this position. You will be given a lot of freedom, so you must be able to work without close supervision from your manager, but at the same time, you will have to manage many different stakeholders, why teamwork and communication skills are equally important for this position as well.
