Customer Quality Engineer

Then you might be the new Customer Quality Engineer we are looking for, to join our engaged and talented quality assurance team.
The team works with quality assurance and incoming inspections within one of the world leaders of hydraulic proportional valve manufacturing (PVG). The main processes are machining, assembly & test on both mechanical and electronic assemblies. The position is located in Nordborg, with global interface to both internal and external stakeholders.
Technical root cause analysis, troubleshooting and optimization of products & processes
With reference to the Quality Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to draw on your technical knowledge and analytical skills when handling with customer issues in all processes across the organization. You will coordinate and be responsible for answering customer claims and ensure the corrective actions are implemented effective. In addition, you will:
- Coordinate activities in our non-conformity process to minimize impact to our customers
- Follow up on agreed deployment of preventive and corrective action with the right Danfoss stakeholders
- Focus on general optimization and improvement of our products as quality improvement projects
- Develop, implement, and maintain new quality processes
Relevant technical background and quality experience
You have a solid background as an engineer or another relevant technical education and some years work experience as a quality engineer with experience from an IATF 16949 compliant company. It is a requirement that you master the basic quality tools (like RCA, 8D, FMEA, etc.) and you are experienced in failure analysis in both mechanical and electronics. It is a plus if you are familiar with international quality standards and internal audit principles. Furthermore, it would be an advantage if you are experienced in systems like Teamcenter PLM and SAP.
You can analyze data and understand the effects of these as well as being a strong troubleshooter, who convert non-conformities into opportunities for improvement and get them implemented. You can work independent as well as in teams and can manage a wide range of stakeholders. You have a sense of urgency and can organize and priorities your work to complete assignments/tasks on time. Further, you have the ability to ask critical questions and apply creative approaches and ideas to solve problems. On a more personal note, you are highly self-motivated, goal-oriented and flexible.
You are an excellent communicator in English (verbally and in writing) and Danish, with an interest in working across the entire organization. German would be an advantage.
