On behalf of Mundipharma, Hays is looking for a talented and experienced Medical Science Liaison for Denmark, who will become responsible for the Diabetes therapy area and enter the Medical Diabetes Team consisting of four persons. The position reports to the Head of Medical Affairs for the Nordic Region.
Your new role
As a MSL you will occupy a senior role in the Nordic Medical Affairs Team and provide high quality medical and scientific input, to actively contribute to the development of Mundipharma in the Nordic product portfolio. This will involve working in partnership with Sales and Marketing colleagues, but also cross-functionally within the Danish business and with other European Associates including Research & Development, to ensure the strategic aims of the company are met.
You will ensure medical and scientific credibility, high corporate ethical standards and support the relevant codes of practice and compliance responsibilities across the countries. Moreover, you will be the primary point of contact in Denmark for the therapeutic area support for relevant products and ensure medical training for the organization. You hold the ability to provide expert medical advice and support as well as to build strong relationships with relevant Key Opinion Leaders and Stakeholders.
Furthermore, you aim for operational efficiency and role model excellence in execution, through effective communication, teamwork with other functions and positive energy. The role is a field-based position and due to the scope of the role you should expect 2-3 days of travel weekly, depending on the product’s life cycle.
What you'll need to succeed
The preferred candidate possesses an educational background in healthcare or life sciences in combination with solid experience from medical affairs related activities in the Pharmaceutical industry as well as previous experience in a formal or informal leadership role. You have a good understanding of clinical development, pharmacovigilance and medical affairs. Knowledge of the Diabetes therapeutic area is an advantage.
You have excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills and you are an effective relationship builder. Fluency in English and one Nordic language is a must. You are action-oriented, hold a strategic and analytical mind-set and thrive in a dynamic, independent and entrepreneurial environment.
